Google remembered how to spell the highway, even though I didn’t, and after politely suggesting this spelling, offered me the above link which is very similar to our escapades in Kashgaria.

Again, my spelling failed me. helpfully rebroadcasts Wikipedia for those of us behind the Great Firewall.

From Muztagata, I was led on a fun exhibition of mountain names and details:

I did successfully spell Khunjerab on the first try.

Then there was a slight digression into biology, namely the evolutionary history of Yaks.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the internet. But if this example of its near-infinite ability to enable procrastination can’t scare you, nothing will.
